The manufacturer states:

12 x limescale filter pads for all Lotus Vita filter jugs, effectively reducing limescale in drinking water.

Installation:

  1. Rinse a filter pad with cold drinking water for 1 minute.
  2. Place the filter pad on top of the filter cartridge.
  3. When using a Lotus Vita filter jug, use the securing lid with the Lotus symbol.
  4. Note the date of replacement. As soon as limescale deposits reappear, replace the filter pad and record the duration of use.

Insufficient amount delivered
Advertised as 12 filter pads, they do not come in a proper 12 piece pack, but in 4 piece batches. I ordered a half year substitute filter set for the lotus glass filter, which should include 4 filterpads. Additionally I ordered 12 substitute filter pads, so I should have received 16 all together. I only received 8. After contacting the customer support, I received an additional 4. But that brings it to 12 pads, not 16. I paid for 16, but 4 are still missing. Customer service didn't reply to my last mail and I can't be bothered to waste my energy. I love my lotus water filter, ( I even have two)but would not buy 12 additional pads again, unless they all come in one packet. I am very disappointed this time, therefore only 1 star.
