This report describes the provings carried out on 16 plant species on the island of Lamu, off the coast of Kenya. The provings were carried out in the week of 14 to 19 March 2011. The species studied were growing on the island of Lamu, mostly indigenous. The species were selected with a view to developing new remedies from families that until now are less known or completely unknown. Particular attention was paid to mangrove species, in particular those from the family Rhizophoraceae.
The proving was conducted as a trituration proving. This has the advantage that the remedies are already potentised to C3 after the proving and are ready for further potentisation.
