Application

After cleansing the face, massage lightly into dry skin. Leave on for at least half an hour. Then remove any excess oil with a tissue.

The best for my face :-)
The scent may be a little unusual at first, but then it becomes really addictive. Every evening I massage this oil onto my face, neck and some of my décolleté with warm, damp hands, it is a delight and a joy, the skin somehow glows and becomes smoother. I have been using it for over 3 months now and have already ordered the second bottle. One small difficulty I have is the dosage from this bottle, it runs out of the bottle very slowly or only with vigorous shaking. Now I have decanted it into a pipette bottle and it works much better! I am grateful to have learnt about this oil from a very good Ayurveda therapist!

I already knew about kumkumadi, which I've been using every night for the last 2 years and I'm delighted with it. An Indian friend gave me my first vial and I'm crazy about it 💕 I'm 53, my skin is supple and nourished. The orange colouring of the oil (absolutely not greasy) gives light and revives the complexion. I've noticed that the few brown spots I had have disappeared. According to my friend Mihir, it should be used in the evening as it is photosensitive.

Very good oil
It's not always easy to get hold of a Kumkumadi oil...so I'm over the moon to have found such a great one. It makes for great skin! Many people write about a smell that takes getting used to...I think that's a matter of taste. It smells mainly of sesame and saffron. Not common in the western cosmetics world...but very common in Ayurveda. I like the scent...and I ordered a second one straight away :)

Smells a little strong - but all the more effective against dry skin. I use it in the morning and in the evening after cleansing. Absorbs wonderfully and really makes the skin supple. I will certainly order it again. Incidentally, the bottle lasts a very long time.
