The manufacturer writes:
Nutritional supplement consisting of herbs with secondary plant compounds (polyphenols)
Kalmegh – Andrographis paniculata – is an erect annual herb with pointed lanceolate leaves and small flowers with rose red petals. Its leaves, seeds and roots are used in Ayurvedic nutrition. In our production facility we finely and gently mill the powder at below 40°C from the above-ground parts of the plant. The milled powder comes from our Indian and Sri Lankan Fair Trade and organic projects.
According to Ayurveda, this product corresponds to the plane of harmonious equilibrium of the Doshas¹ through a balance of the six flavours. It supplies a bitter flavour.
¹ Doshas are Ayurvedic principles that have no correlation in modern science.
Note: the stated recommended daily doses must not be exceeded. Nutritional supplements are no replacement for a balanced and varied diet. Store out of the reach of young children.
Storage: store in a cool and dry place.

To date, no NRV (reference amount for daily intake) has been established by legislation for secondary plant constituents. The amount stated here corresponds to traditional Ayurvedic recommendations.
