If you are looking for a picture book in which pure globules in free fall, globules in the hand, globules in tubes, globules in vials and a cup on a garden chair are depicted, then this is the book for you. Unfortunately, however, the advertised milestone for the classically working homeopath turns out to be a small, insignificant pebble on a long, long road of pebbles. I consider the work to be superficial - a nicely presented advertising brochure for the seminar work of the Munich Hospice Service. There are generously presented "In Focus" boxes in which the interested reader is proclaimed wisdom such as the statement that relatives may need Ignatia! Why Borax is preferably used in D 5 is not explained in detail, nor are the reasons for the choice of symptoms and rubrics. The book is certainly not written for serious homeopaths; a progress report on page 79, for example, reads as follows: "Aconitum helped the patient well for a while, especially against her restlessness ....... Aconitum was not the only homeopathic remedy she took, because the patient treated herself - but Aconitum had the clearest effect against the restlessness." This case presentation is the result of 30 years of practice - thank you very much! The homeopathic literature could do without such a description. And also on page XII you read: "It cannot do justice to all homeopathic remedies that are indicated in everyday practice and the constitutional prescription of classical medicine." I did not understand this and it is also not explained in more detail what is meant by the "constitutional prescription of classical medicine". The possible assignment of medicines to the five elements of Tibetan medicine is breathtaking. Hahnemann would certainly rewrite the Organon and the RAL with this wisdom. The picture on page 38 with the author and an elderly gentleman is probably to be understood as a miasmatic picture puzzle. And if I had known before buying the book that Mrs Holle describes the nature of her work as "do and don't", I would have left "it" (buying the book) alone!

I really like the book. It is clear, well structured, beautifully illustrated and suitable for giving as a gift. However, it is limited to a few frequently used resources. However, it should definitely be mentioned somewhere that the book is primarily aimed at lay people. As a practising homeopath myself, the book did not provide me with any new insights.

A very good homeopathic guide for the care and support of the seriously ill in palliative care. Practical tips for dealing with the dying and a detailed description of the dying phase. Highly recommended!

Very good book, very valuable in palliative care. Although not entirely on the subject, I would have liked a little more on accompanying elderly people at the end of their lives.

This book is very, very well written and easy to understand even for nurses on the palliative care ward without any knowledge of homeopathy. The success of the therapy will convince you!

Of course, this is not a book that you just read straight through. That's why I can't really rate it at the moment.
