I can recommend this book to anyone who is at the beginning of histamine intolerance and has many questions... The 4-step plan makes it easier to get started and the many really tasty recipes show you the way you can go without having to give up too much.

I found this book very valuable because I have recently started suffering from histamine intolerance. The doctor gives a lot of good tips and advice for improving this intolerance, which is really not easy to diagnose. I can now try out some things myself and see if they help me.

Cure histamine intolerance?
Histamine intolerance is relatively unknown. However, more and more patients are being tested. Dr Becky Champbell sees herself as a health detective and has developed a 4-phase plan against eczema, migraines, dizziness and allergies based on her own medical history. In addition to recipes for breakfast, lunch and dinner, there are many suggestions for side dishes, dressings and drinks on how to keep histamine levels low through food. What I like about the book are the many colourful book page-sized graphics that complement the text. For 1/3 of the book, Mrs Campbell explains the symptoms and background to the condition in great detail. I think it's very good that the author goes into this in such detail. Because only those who know why they develop these and those symptoms can assess how important it is to reduce this or that food. The author has reserved 2/3 of the book for delicious and varied recipes. The book ends with a 30-day meal plan. A good idea for new histamine patients. Conclusion A basic book on histamine intolerance

An allergist tests the skin (scratch test), the result comes in a minute, it looks as if you have been bitten by a mosquito, it itches and burns just as much!

Hello, people keep asking how you can test for this and most doctors say it's not possible.I now had an extreme skin rash and oedema on my face. The dermatologist had my blood tested for diaminooxidase, DAOX for short, on the lab certificate. Maybe that will help.LG Bettina F.

I had an allergy test (prick test) at the dermatologist. This also revealed histamine intolerance

Recommendation with restrictions
The book offers interesting information, but the pleasure of reading is limited by an extremely unpleasant odour. The photos do not provide an example of healthy eating, as some of the vegetables look burnt.
