It is mined in the Salt Range, one of the largest and oldest salt deposits on Earth. The Salt Range is located in Pakistan and forms part of the Siwalik Hills, a foothill zone of the Himalayas. Erntesegen Himalayan primeval salt is mined, milled and packaged. Nothing is removed and nothing is added — it is natural and untreated.
