For every occasion
What a treasure trove of recipes this book contains! These are roughly organised into chapters, such as: for women, for children or men, for everyday ailments or beauty, especially for old age or against stress and anxiety. However, these chapters are themselves organised according to symptoms, so that the required recipe can be found quickly among the 175 (!) printed. Brief information on the respective symptom is followed by the corresponding recipes with their preparation and application. In addition, the author addresses the reader with short, personal words and points out the benefits or her own experiences with this recipe. There is also a small herbal pharmacy in the appendix. Here, individual medicinal herbs are presented in pictures and text and their benefits and uses are explained. At the end of the book, the production of herbal medicines and their dosage forms are discussed again in general terms. I am glad to have come across this book. The immense number of different recipes makes me dizzy. It really does offer help for every conceivable situation. Naturally, however, a large number of medicinal herbs are required for these recipes, which have to be collected and processed by yourself or purchased. However, sources of supply have also been considered here, so that nothing really stands in the way of making these wonderful recipes. In short: I am thrilled and can only warmly recommend this book - whether as a supplement to the "modern herbal pharmacy" or as a stand-alone book.
