On this night, when the goddesses Lilith and Walpurgis can be felt, the veils to the otherworld thin – as with the opposing Samhain festival.
Included plants: patchouli, hawthorn, clary sage, dandelion, ground-ivy, etc.
Application
Keep the candle in a draught-free location, use a flat, level coaster and supervise it while burning. Make sure the wick is trimmed as necessary and that the drip tray is clean (!).
The candles burn down with a delicate lattice pattern - this is intentional.
Remove the band before lighting and follow the instructions printed on it carefully.
After several hours of burning, melting parts of the rim structure may cause the drip tray to overflow. To prevent this, we recommend extinguishing the candle and allowing it to cool beforehand, or removing the rim.
