The manufacturer writes:
The Mohawk are an Indigenous people in northern North America who still practise a traditional form of giving thanks. Although it follows a particular structure, it leaves space in the moment to determine to whom and for what the gratitude is directed.
For example, water can be thanked for its refreshment, the earth for its fruits, the animals for their sacrifice and the celestial bodies for their inspiration. This practice creates space to express appreciation for plants, trees, animals and people, or to acknowledge the influence of spiritual guidance in one's own life.
Honest and considered words of thanks create contentment and encourage re-evaluation and reflection. Let us turn our gaze to what we have, rather than to what is seemingly lacking.
Thoughts may be free, but the spoken word has a profound effect. Use the candle "Thanksgiving to Nature" for your personal ritual to celebrate your connection with nature — whatever form it takes, it will resonate.
For the four cardinal directions and the connection to the heavens we have mixed juniper, nettle, St John's wort, hawthorn and sage into this candle. The earthy, all‑natural oil blend also contains vetiver and cinnamon.
Application
All candles in glass tend to flicker due to a chimney effect. If soot and grease deposits occur, you can easily remove them with a damp cloth.
Warning! The glass can become hot; please use a suitable heatproof surface.
