The sun grows stronger, and Mother Earth carries within her the seeds of the coming spring to make room for new beginnings. At this festival of light the wise dark goddess is succeeded by the young white goddess Brigid, who brings new life.
She kindles the flame of life within us – she gives us visions and helps us to shape and mould what is not yet visible.
Plants included are, among others, birch, elecampane, lavender, dammar and snowdrops.
Application
Place the candle in a draught-free location, use a level, heatproof base and supervise the candle while it burns. Make sure the wick is trimmed if necessary and that the drip tray is clean (!).
The candles burn down leaving a delicate lattice pattern — this is intentional.
Remove the sleeve before lighting and follow the instructions printed on it carefully.
After several hours of burning, melting parts of the rim can cause the drip tray to overflow. To prevent this, we recommend extinguishing the candle and allowing it to cool beforehand, or removing the rim.
