What was sown and tended has now been harvested. It is time to savour this abundance and to preserve the summer's gathered strength, so as to enter the dark season strengthened.
Included plants: sweetgrass, hazel, angelica, vetiver, elecampane root, goldenrod
Application
Place the candle in a draught-free location, use a flat, level base and supervise the burning of your candle. Make sure the wick is trimmed if necessary and that the candle plate is clean (!).
The candles burn down in a delicate lattice pattern – this is intentional.
Remove the band before lighting and follow the instructions on it carefully.
After several hours of burning, melting parts of the rim structure can cause the candle plate to overflow. To prevent this, we recommend extinguishing the candle first and allowing it to cool, or removing the rim.
