The scent of autumn carries the breath of retreat – the work is done.
What was sown and tended is now harvested. It is time to consciously savour this abundance and to preserve the gathered strength of summer, so as to enter the darker months strengthened.
Included plants: sweetgrass, hazel, angelica, vetiver, elecampane root, goldenrod
Application
Place the candle in a draught-free location, use a flat, level coaster and supervise its burning. Ensure the wick is trimmed if necessary and that the drip tray is clean (!).
The candles burn down with a delicate lattice pattern - this is intentional.
Remove the paper band before lighting and follow the instructions shown on it carefully.
After several hours of burning, melting parts of the rim structure can cause the drip tray to overflow. To prevent this, we recommend extinguishing the candle and allowing it to cool beforehand, or removing the rim.
