Organic Guduchi - Tinospora cordifolia
Is a perennial climbing plant with heart-shaped leaves and small yellow flowers, whose stem develops many hanging tendrils (aerial roots). In Ayurvedic nutrition the stem, root, sap and leaves are used. The finely and gently milled powder from the above-ground plant parts, according to Ayurveda, contributes to the harmonious balance of the Doshas* by balancing the six tastes. It provides the astringent and bitter tastes.
*Doshas are Ayurvedic principles that have no equivalent in modern science.
