Secret of success: the gentle saponification
Thanks to the traditional manufacturing method and the use of high‑quality, purely plant‑based raw materials (pure olive oil), FINigrana® Aleppo soap achieves its outstanding quality. The soap is cooked until the saponification process is complete (unlike industrial soap, which is produced using only hot steam). After cooling, the soap is cut by hand, stamped, stacked and dried for 9 months until final maturation. This produces a highly concentrated soap essence. Unopened soap can then be stored dry for decades without losing quality.
Pure olive oil soap is ideal for daily hand washing. It is also indispensable for washing and felting pure wool.
