Dr Joel Fuhrman is one of the most sensible authors on the subject of nutrition - 25 years of practical experience - over 20,000 studies reviewed and - what more could you want - I myself have struggled and lost my way through the jungle of information for over 30 years. Dr Fuhrman has shown me the way out with his books - this book is another milestone (especially because of the 3 stages of dietary change, which make it practicable for everyone). I recommend it to my patients to read and use.

Good recipes...
Many valuable tips on Dr Fuhrmann's recommended diet are given here. For many people who want to implement this concept in their everyday lives, it will certainly be helpful. I was just looking for alternative, healthy and tasty recipes and I found them in this book - even for non-nutritarians ;-)

Super, total praxisnah.
I am absolutely delighted with the book, it is very informative and also supports those who need step-by-step help to switch to a healthier diet. Although I was rather sceptical at first, the recipes are very tasty, although I don't completely do without salt. I use my own alkaline vegetable stock (with sea salt) for flavouring and my own apple cider vinegar. Basically, this diet is identical to the alkaline diet. It is very well structured and I am very positively surprised by the recipes. I can only recommend it!
