Organic fenugreek (Trigonella foenumgraecum) is native to the warm areas of almost all continents. The annual herb has long legumes containing the seeds. These have various valuable uses in natural healing and are an ingredient in popular curry mixtures. Fenugreek tastes and smells aromatic with a spicy note. It belongs to the main bitters of ayurvedic medicine.

Recommended intake

Healthy hair, less hair loss 🙂
At the beginning of 2023, I had severe hair loss at the age of 60. A doctor (who also suffered from hair loss) gave me the Narayana tip. For a balanced blood sugar level
As I have high blood sugar, I ordered fenugreek capsules. And after just 2-3 weeks of taking them, my fasting blood sugar levels have improved slightly! Fenugreek is also said to have a good effect on digestion and is certainly a great support for breastfeeding women, as it is said to stimulate milk production. I tolerate it well and have not noticed any undesirable side effects.

Great for milk production
I use the fenugreek capsules to make milk, as I initially had too little milk to breastfeed my little daughter. With the fenugreek capsules there is always enough milk for my child and she can be completely supplied with breast milk, which makes me very happy.

The fenugreek capsules are a versatile and effective supporter in several areas of life. However, I find the recommended intake of 4 x 600 mg capsules per day stated on the jar to be a little too high. I take 3 capsules a day and mainly use it to support muscle growth during weight training. However, the change in body odour is also important to know. So that you don't start to smell like soup, you need to wash more often.

The dosage is not too high. I had bad hair loss for months last year (probably due to the menopause?), which is a disaster for a woman! My naturopath, who I have been seeing for years whenever I have health problems, advised me to take these fenugreek capsules. She even said that I should take 8-10 capsules. After a few weeks the hair loss had stopped and after 3-4 months lots of little baby hairs were visible again. It helped me very well. For hair loss you should take the equivalent of up to 5 grams a day, small doses don't help. It probably depends on what health problem you have. In any case, you need to take it over a long period of time. I took it for about 9 months. L.G. Ka.
