Completely different than expected
I get a whole new perspective on my digestion, the book is written in a very profound and appealing way, spirituality finds its place in it and inspired me to change some of my habits. Anyone who wants to get to know and understand themselves / body / mind and soul should definitely read this book!

I've just read through the book. I'm going to try out its recommendations. It explains many connections between the gut and the other organs. For example, the stomach. Until now I thought that the stomach simply breaks down protein and that's it. No, it is responsible for much more. So all in all, a lot of new information that everyone should actually know. But unfortunately we know very little about our bodies. One star is deducted for the fact that the book leaves you out in the cold in some places. For example, the author writes that some people stop the treatment in the first few days of the Mayr cure because of the accompanying symptoms (possibly headaches, etc.). However, he does not give any tips on how to minimise these.
