How the carefully considered combination of ingredients promotes well-being
This cream contains a variety of natural ingredients: Devil's claw root extract combined with essential oils of rosemary, lavender, juniper and spruce needle give the cream its subtle, spicy scent and make massaging it in a pleasant moment of relaxation. Glycerin and organic jojoba oil protect the skin from drying out and additionally nourish it.
Unearthed from the depths of the African savanna
The African Devil's Claw (Harpagophytum procumbens) belongs to the sesame family. It is a time-tested, traditionally used plant and is employed for various, primarily cosmetic, applications. The storage roots of the Devil's Claw are used. They are often extensively branched underground and can weigh up to 600 grams. During harvest the main root remains intact and can therefore form new storage roots. The roots are chopped and dried before further processing.
The herbaceous plant comes from the savannas of Namibia, South Africa, Zimbabwe and Botswana. Of particular interest is the constituent harpagoside alongside many other valuable plant compounds found in Devil's Claw.
