The large repertory of veterinary medicine is a worthwhile purchase for anyone who frequently treats their own animals or those of other pet owners homeopathically. Repertories are developed over many years in an interrelation of practice and theory - this is also the case here, and you can tell. Pitcairn's work is based primarily on Bönninghausen, and he explains exactly why this is the case. Mr Pitcairn's foreword should be studied sentence by sentence, because it is far more than a standard foreword, more of an introduction, and very interesting, also with regard to his comparison of Kent's and Boenninghausen's approach. I find the statement that it is unfortunately not possible to determine mental and emotional symptoms in animals a pity. This may be true for bees or fish, but mammal keepers predominantly and sometimes also very differentiatedly tell how their animal "ticks", physical symptoms are often overlooked. The extended chapter overview (6 double pages after the introduction) makes it much easier to use and get an overview of the repertory. The side indentations in the pages of the entire book are also a great, time-saving idea. In 32 chapters from Mind to Breath to General, there are many, many sub-items for most complaints, so that in most cases the accompanying symptoms can also be found for the main complaint. You can only imagine how much work has gone into each individual page. The repertory helps me to choose remedies and since I have been using it, I am more flexible and structured at the same time and consider remedies that I would not have thought of without the book. That's why it's a great addition for me. In a new edition, the warm and sympathetic acknowledgements should be edited again. It is a pity that a few grammatical errors were overlooked, as the Narayana publishing house is rightly thanked explicitly! However, I have not noticed any errors in the repertory itself. It really is a great book that is worth every cent of the purchase.

I think it's great that there is a repertory for veterinary medicine. The 'Großes Repertorium der Tierheilkunde' is very clearly laid out and the index is also very practical, leading quickly to the topics you are looking for by means of page indentations. Delivery as always prompt.
