The organic clove bud essential oil has a spicy-warm, slightly sweet and intense aroma. It is a powerhouse and should only be used in appropriate dilution. Clove bud oil is known in dentistry, where it is valued for its anaesthetic and analgesic properties. It can be used to promote circulation in the muscles in conjunction with a warming sports massage. The oil can help strengthen in cases of mental and physical exhaustion. During pregnancy use only after consulting a midwife, as it may have an activating effect on the uterine muscles.
Suitable for scenting rooms; when blended and diluted for cosmetic and therapeutic topical use, e.g. in face and body oils, for massage oils, for therapeutic rubs and compresses, as a bath additive, for masks, and for homemade cosmetic products
