This ceramic pre-filter fits all Lotus FONTANA® models from Lotus Vita. With a pore size of 0.2 - 0.4 µm, this ceramic filter already removes practically all undissolved substances in the Lotus FONTANA® filling tank, even microplastics. It also retains sediments, rust, sand, dust and bacteria of all kinds.
Thanks to the small pore size, the water appears particularly clear and the subsequent Lotus FONTANA® filter cartridges are not burdened with the finest suspended particles. All solid components are retained and can be easily removed from the ceramic filter by gentle sanding.
The flat ceramic filter ensures an even water flow, especially at a low level in the filling tank.
Service life:
The high-performance filter is worn only by the mechanical cleaning process. Therefore the service life is approximately one year, depending on the original water quality and frequency of use. As a result, the actual service life may differ significantly from this estimate.
Note:
As the filter can suddenly crack after prolonged use and many cleaning cycles, it is advisable to keep a spare ceramic filter in stock after one year at the latest, since the Lotus FONTANA® water dispensers cannot be used without a ceramic filter.
