Frankincense and dhoops are burnt on charcoal. The easiest option for this is quick‑light incense charcoal discs. They are simple to use, as once lit they continue to burn on their own. However, you should ensure that the charcoal receives sufficient air all around during the ignition process.
Directions for use:
- Hold the piece of charcoal by one side and light the other.
- Place the charcoal in an incense vessel (on a little sand or a mesh).
- Once the charcoal is glowing, incense can be burnt on it.
Warning: Ensure that the incense vessel is placed on a heat‑resistant surface and not near anything flammable.
