The alkaloid occurs naturally in various plants, including barberry (Berberis aristata), from which it takes its name. Berberine is predominantly found in the roots, stem, bark and rhizome.
The berberine is complemented by the versatile zinc, here present as zinc citrate, providing 10 mg per daily dose.
Each container of Berberine 500 mg contains 90 capsules. This corresponds to a 3-month supply.
