BentonitMed® powder from Unimedica supports the liver by detoxifying the intestinal tract of heavy materials and other pollutants. The fine powder containing natural indigestible calcium sodium bentonite binds toxins such as aluminium, mercury, cadmium, lead, ammonium and histamine and discharges them before these pollutants can reach the liver.
In contrast to zeolite, bentonite forms a gel protective layer containing montmorillonite. This gently coats the stomach and intestinal mucous membranes, reducing the effect of pathogenic factors and soothing the nerve ends in stomach and intestine. Intended purpose: This natural medical device supports the binding and elimination of heavy metals (Pb, Hg, Cr, Cd, Al and Ni) from the bodies of adults. It may additionally reduce symptoms such as fatigue and headaches associated with chronically elevated heavy metal levels.
Warnings and safety information: Stop taking the product if you notice unexpected side effects and consult your doctor. If constipation occurs, increase fluid intake, reduce the dosage and, if necessary, consult your doctor. Use in patients with pre-existing constipation, impaired renal function, underlying illness, those on medication, or those undergoing chemotherapy or radiotherapy should only take place after medical consultation. Breastfeeding or pregnant women, children and adolescents (under 18 years) must contact their doctor before using the medical device. Do not inhale the product. Do not take at the same time as alcoholic, caffeine-containing or acidic beverages such as grapefruit, orange, lemon and pineapple juice. If the product gets into the eyes, rinse thoroughly. Ensure adequate fluid intake in the form of water or other non-alcoholic beverages while using the product. Not intended for continuous long-term use. Stop use if you notice any unusual effects.

Side effects: Especially during the first week after starting use, constipation (obstipation) may occur. In very rare cases, at the start of use, flatulence, stomach pain, nausea, dizziness and fatigue may occur.

Recommended intake
Method and duration of use: Medicinal product for oral use: Stir 1/2 level teaspoon (= 1 g) into a glass of water (250 ml) 2-3 times a day and drink immediately with meals. The maximum duration of intake is 12 weeks. If repeated use is necessary, take a break of at least one week.
