Set goes beyond pure liver and bile cleansing
For the actual, classic liver and bile cleansing according to Moritz, only the olive oil (250ml) and the Epsom salt are actually needed! The enema serves as an alternative to colon hydrotherapy for the necessary colonic irrigation. Liver and kidney tea are therapeutic supplements, as is aloe vera juice. Malic acid (powder) can be used as a substitute for the apple juice recommended in the book.

Good evening. I don't quite understand. The Epsom salt is for drinking and bathing? But here it talks about cleansing the intestines, which things are included?

Very good set of products
I did my first liver and gall bladder cleanse following the protocol established by Andréas Moritz and using malic acid, epsom salt and olive oil from the "Pack". It's very convenient and worked very well. There's enough left over for the next cleaning. I recommend this pack.

Price - performance / quality and service is right
Highly recommended - good quality and the price is right too. So you have everything together right away. Very fast delivery and very competent advice on questions and very concerned about customer satisfaction. (Which is very rare) The teas are very lovingly packaged with the flower of life on the packaging (I like it very much).

No instructions
I bought this set for a lot of money because it advertises Andreas Moritz. Now I have expensive products at home and don't know what to do with them. I expected 100% that at least a quick guide would be included describing the procedure and application of the products. Now I have to buy his book to know how to use everything, which annoys me. I can't judge the quality of the products.

Hello, I'm looking for the length of the hose for the enema irrigator. The information is not on the website. Could you please tell me the length of the one you bought? And tell me if you find the irrigator practical? I have the impression that it has to be hooked on but that it can't be put down? Thanks for your help.

Basis set
I think it's a shame that there are no quick instructions for this set. I now have the products but don't know how to use them all in sequence. Do I really have to buy the book as well? I was motivated to get started, but now I've lost my enthusiasm. What a pity!

You should drink the liver tea first and continue with the kidney tea after the end of the liver cure, not at the same time.

Fit and healthy
Everything is well tolerated and the teas taste good. The malic acid also went down well, just drink it in sips! The mixture with grapefruit and oil was also okay. What is really very bitter is the Epsom salt ;-( .... You have to get through it.

What is the protocol...?
Hello. I'd like to know more about the protocol for cleansing the liver and kidneys. Is it included in the pack of products on sale?

There is no risk if you follow all the instructions exactly. I urge you to take the following warning very seriously. Many people have used liver‑cleansing recipes they received from friends or found on the internet and have suffered unnecessary complications. They were not aware of the full procedure and how it works, and believed that it was enough to expel a few liver and gallbladder stones. The liver cleanse requires six days of preparation followed by 16–20 hours for the cleanse itself. To remove gallstones you will need the following items: 1. Organic apple juice (rich in malic acid) 6 × 1 litre 2. Magnesium sulphate (which will dilate the bile ducts) — 4 tablespoons in 750 ml of water 3. Extra virgin olive oil (organic, first cold‑pressed) 4. 120 ml fresh grapefruit juice (pink, or a mix of lemon and orange) 5. A 180 ml container with lid for emulsifying Note: Magnesium sulphate is available in all pharmacies; it is known as a laxative. In the United States magnesium sulphate is sold as “Epsom salts”. Preparation • Drink 1 litre (32 ounces) of apple juice each day for six days. (You may drink more if you prefer.) The malic acid in the apple juice softens gallstones and makes their passage through the bile ducts easier. Apple juice has a strong cleansing effect. Sensitive people may experience bloating and possibly diarrhoea during the first days. Much of the diarrhoea is actually composed of stagnant bile released by the liver and gallbladder (characterised by a yellow‑brown colour). Fermentation caused by the apple juice helps to widen the bile ducts. If this becomes a little uncomfortable, you can dilute the juice with water. Sip the apple juice slowly throughout the day, between meals (avoid drinking the juice during a meal, immediately before a meal and for two hours after a meal, and avoid it in the evening). The apple juice should be in addition to your usual water intake. Note: Although organic apple juice is preferable, for the purposes of the cleanse a good commercial apple juice, concentrated juice or cider will also do. It may be helpful to rinse your mouth with bicarbonate of soda and/or brush your teeth several times during the day to prevent the acid from damaging your teeth. [If you have an intolerance or allergy to apple juice, see the other options explained in “difficulties with the cleanse” at the end of this chapter.] • Dietary recommendations: During the week of preparation, avoid consuming cold foods or drinks, as these cool the liver and thereby reduce the effectiveness of the cleanse. All foods and drinks should be warm or at room temperature. To help prepare the liver, try to avoid animal foods, dairy products and fried foods. Apart from that, eat normal meals but avoid excess. • Best time to do the cleanse: It is best to plan the main and final part of the liver cleanse for a weekend when you are not under pressure and have plenty of time to rest. Although the cleanse is effective at any time of the month, it is best to do it on a day between the full moon and the new moon. Try to avoid doing the cleanse on a full‑moon day. The new‑moon day is the most favourable for cleansing and healing. • If you take medication: On the day of the liver cleanse, avoid taking medications, vitamins or supplements that are not absolutely necessary. It is important not to give the liver extra work that might interfere with its cleansing efforts. • Make sure to cleanse your colon before and after the liver cleanse. Regular bowel movements are not necessarily an indication that the intestines are clear. Cleansing the colon either a few days before the cleanse or, ideally, on the sixth day of preparation, helps to avoid or minimise possible discomfort or nausea that may occur during the liver cleanse. It also prevents reflux of the oil mixture or intestinal waste. In addition, the elimination of gallstones will occur more quickly. Colon irrigation (colon hydrotherapy) is the quickest and easiest method to prepare the colon for a liver cleanse. An enema is a possible method (enema kits can be found in pharmacies). • What to do on the sixth day of preparation (the 6th day of apple juice): If you are hungry, eat a light breakfast in the morning, such as porridge made with water. Avoid sugar or sweeteners, spices and especially milk, butter, oil, cheese, yoghurt, ham, eggs, nuts, pastries, cold cereals, etc. Fruit or fruit juices are acceptable. At midday eat raw vegetables or white rice (preferably Basmati), seasoned with a little unrefined sea salt or crystal salt. In short: do not eat foods containing protein or fat (butter or oil), or you may feel unwell during the cleanse. Do not eat or drink anything (except water) after 14:00, otherwise you will not be able to dislodge stones! Follow the schedule below very precisely to gain maximum benefit from the liver cleanse. Evening 18:00: Add four tablespoons (50 grams) of magnesium sulphate to 720 ml of water (24 ounces) in a jar. This yields four portions of about 180 ml (6 ounces). Drink your first portion (180 ml) now. You may take a few small sips of water afterwards to neutralise the bitter taste in the mouth or add a little lemon juice to improve the flavour. Some people drink it through a long plastic straw to avoid contact with the taste buds on the tongue. Pinching your nose is also a method that works well for many people. It may also be helpful to brush your teeth or rinse your mouth with bicarbonate of soda after drinking the mixture. One of the main functions of magnesium sulphate is to dilate the bile ducts, which facilitates the passage of stones. In addition, it clears wastes that might impede the release of stones. If you are allergic to magnesium sulphate, or unable to drink it, you may use magnesium citrate as a second choice. 20:00: Drink the second glass of magnesium sulphate. 21:30: If you have not been to the toilet so far, and if you have not had a colon cleanse in the last 2 hours, do an enema with water; this will trigger a bowel movement. 21:45: Wash the grapefruits (or the lemons and oranges). Juice them and remove the pulp. You will need 180 ml of juice. Pour the juice and 120 ml of olive oil into the 500 ml jar. Close the jar and shake it vigorously until you obtain a homogeneous emulsion. Ideally you should drink this mixture at 22:00, but if you feel you still need to go to the toilet occasionally, you may delay this step by up to 10 minutes. 22:00: Stand beside your bed (do not sit) and drink the preparation, if possible in one go. Some people prefer to drink it through a long straw or find that holding their nose works better. If necessary, take a little honey between small sips. LIE DOWN IMMEDIATELY! This is essential to release the gallstones. Turn off the lights and lie flat on your back with 1–2 pillows to elevate your head. Your head should be higher than your abdomen. If this is uncomfortable, lie on your right side with your knees drawn up to your abdomen. Remain perfectly still for at least 20 minutes and try not to speak! Focus your attention on your liver. Some people find it beneficial to place a castor‑oil poultice over the liver area. You may feel stones travelling through the bile ducts like marbles. You should not feel spasms or pain because the magnesium sulphate keeps the sphincters of the bile ducts wide open and relaxed, and the bile that is excreted with the stones acts as a lubricant (this is very different from a biliary colic, where there is no magnesium or bile). Afterwards, sleep if you can. If you need to go to the toilet during the night, do so. Check for small gallstones (apple‑green or bronze coloured) floating in the toilet. You may feel slightly unwell during the night and/or in the small hours of the morning. This is mostly due to a strong and sudden release of gallstones and toxins from the liver and gallbladder, which causes reflux of the oil mixture into the stomach. This will pass during the morning. The following morning 06:00–06:30: When you wake — but not before 06:00 — drink your third portion of magnesium sulphate (if you are thirsty, drink a glass of warm water before taking the magnesium sulphate). Rest, read or meditate. If you are still tired, you may go back to bed, although it is preferable to remain upright. Most people feel well and prefer to do light exercise, for example yoga. 08:00–08:30: Drink your fourth and final portion of magnesium sulphate. 10:00–10:30: You may drink fresh fruit juice. Half an hour later you may eat one or two pieces of fresh fruit. One hour later you may eat a normal (but light) meal. By the evening or the next morning you should be back to your normal state and notice the first signs of improvement. Continue to eat light meals for the following days. Remember that your liver and gallbladder have undergone a major “surgical operation”, but without harmful side effects. When you decide to start your first cleanse, it is important to repeat the same procedure about every three weeks until for two consecutive cleanses you have no stones! Leaving the liver only half‑cleaned can cause even more discomfort. It is likely that some gallstones remain trapped in the colon. They can be quickly and easily expelled during colon irrigation. This should ideally be carried out on the second or third day after the liver cleanse. If gallstones remain in the colon, they can cause irritation and may become a source of toxemia in the body. If hydrotherapy is not available where you live, you can do a coffee enema (3 teaspoons of pure coffee in 2 litres of water) followed by a water enema. If you can do less than that, you can mix a small spoonful of magnesium sulphate into a glass of hot water and drink it on an empty stomach on the morning you would otherwise have had the colon irrigation after a liver cleanse. People whose colons are severely obstructed or who suffer from constipation should consider having at least 2–3 colon irrigations before their first liver cleanse. Also, it is very important to irrigate your colon within three days after each liver cleanse.
