The manufacturer states:

The Ayurvedic kajal in black from Berk is twist‑up and requires no sharpening. In a practical metal casing. It is made in India according to old traditional Ayurvedic recipes. Free from chemical additives.

This kajal uses high‑quality borneol flakes (the purest form of camphor).

It does not smudge or shine and is very long‑lasting. Well suited to sensitive eyes.

I like it very much!
It feels very pleasant and nourishing. I also find the menthol scent very pleasant. My favourite time to apply it is in the evening before going to bed. It does smudge a little the next morning, but after washing my face, my eyes look fresh and naturally made up🥰

Kayak pencils, the only make-up utensil. This is one that doesn't cause any irritation, but it can smudge a little. If you could sharpen it, it would have got 5*.

I use the pencil almost every day and am happy with the product. I just have to run the pencil over the inner eyelid several times so that the colour application is strong enough. Definitely better to use than many other eyeliner pencils.
