Gentle healing through Ayurveda
Dr Marianne Teitelbaum explains the complex causes of thyroid dysfunction in an understandable way. I think it is extremely important to consider Ayurvedic healing options for thyroid disorders, especially as this generally benefits the body, mind and soul. As doctors do not necessarily provide a comprehensive description of the causal chains, let alone show alternatives in most cases, it is advisable for those affected to inform themselves and take the alleviation of symptoms and even a cure into their own hands by changing their lifestyle, in this case through the many possibilities of Ayurveda. A super guide!

Thyroid and Ayurveda
Finally, I've spoken from the heart. It's probably possible without conventional medicine. I am in the process of gathering my experiences. The book is very easy to understand, the practical implementation is a little more difficult, especially with special Ayurvedic products.

Hope at last
I struggled for a long time with my GP's request to prescribe me thyroid hormones. With this book I finally have a solution that doesn't make me dependent on medication forever and the book brings sooo much more! Simply super! Absolutely recommendable!

I am very satisfied
The book is written by a doctor who really understood the principles of Ayurveda. Actually, all doctors should read and learn this book! Because Ayurveda is the medicine of the future. The only problem...certain medicinal spices can perhaps only be found in Asian shops.

There are many good certified products. The Asian shop is not recommended.

Instructive and easy to understand
I am generally interested in Ayurvedic healing and nutritional teachings. Marianne Teitelbaum has written a book that is easy to understand for anyone who is interested. Among other things, she deals with the organs liver and gall bladder and explains when herbs or spices can develop a cooling or heating effect and how a balancing effect can be achieved. An instructive work that I can recommend to anyone interested in Ayurveda.

Instructive and informative
The book is very easy to understand and doesn't just concern the thyroid gland. Bile, liver, hormones etc. and the circle is complete. I already knew a lot, but have learnt even more. I am starting to implement recommendations. I can recommend the book.

Great summary
The knowledge of many years of practice is summarised. It is a good mixture of complex knowledge and practice. As an absolute Ayurveda beginner, you can take your time reading it. Well suited for students of Ayurveda medicine. Simply great

Ayurveda for the thyroid gland
the rigid devaluation of vegetarian, vegan and raw food diets, with the recommendation to supplement every meal with animal products I didn't read any further, but Ayurveda content seems to be well structured, so 1 star ;)

Easy to read, informative even for laypersons or beginners
I have slowly read my way through it. It's informative and everyone can find out what they need to know. However, Hashimoto's thyteoditis has to be recognised very early in order to treat it properly. Unfortunately, I don't know anyone who was diagnosed early. Cureability for me is very questionable, because for me, cure means stopping antibodies/inflammation completely and living with normal function without hormones. Unfortunately, I don't know anyone who does.

Absolutely recommendable!
Very informative! The title of the book gives no idea of the comprehensive knowledge behind it. From the Ayurvedic doctor's point of view, illness begins from a disharmony ... this must be avoided or restored! The book shows many ways to achieve this! The first few pages in which you are introduced to the basic understanding of Ayurveda are a little tedious to read... but then an incredible insight into the extensive knowledge of this knowledge of this doctor, who translates the ancient Ayurvedic teachings into modern times. An eye-opener!
