Great book

I had low expectations of the book. But I thought maybe there was something in it for me after all. I've now almost finished reading the book and I'm absolutely thrilled. It contains lots of very specific suggestions on what you can do. It goes into depth and is well researched, but is still easy to read. I've already implemented the first points and tomorrow I'm going to change my diet and see what happens. The book gives hope for a cure. However, the responsibility for this clearly lies with the reader. I hope that many more sufferers will find and read this book.

I have almost completely cured my autoimmune disease. There are now only rare moments when it makes itself felt. The book was a very important starting point on my journey. I still do a lot of things (nutritional supplements, reducing toxic exposure, reducing stress...) and I have adapted some things (e.g. I have almost completely eliminated meat from my diet). I simply picked out the things that appealed to me and felt right. But the book is not the only factor on my path - I try to live very consciously, to address/change things that bother me straight away, I've also read a lot about Tepperwein and Dahlke (what triggers illnesses, how to live a healthy life) and have done coaching sessions.

Not very helpful

Typically American - is my impression when reading it. Esoteric - I lack solid foundations. Drastic tips - generalised statements - no scientific discussion - all autoimmune diseases are lumped together - example: avoiding gluten in MS is stated as a MUST, although not a single study (see the book on MS by Jellinek!) validates this statement. As an affected patient or relative, you can save yourself the trouble of reading this book.
