Green mineral clay, also called loess or clay (French: argile verte), from Argiletz is a guaranteed pure, natural clay of the highest quality. It consists of various natural minerals and trace elements that have lain beneath the earth's surface for thousands of years. Unaffected by the harmful environmental influences of today, it therefore contains minerals and trace elements in their purest and original form. Argiletz's green clay contains no added additives and no preservatives. Its green colour is due exclusively to the copper and iron compounds it contains. The green clay can bind various toxins and gases with its lattice-like mineral structure.
The green clay is extracted by the DIN ISO-certified Argiletz mining operation, gently sun-dried and then milled to an ultra-fine powder (particle size 60 µm).
Can be used as poultices, masks, packs, wraps, dressings, compresses, rinses, bath additive and for hair care. Regular use has a beneficial effect on skin texture and the whole body. No side effects known. Characteristic of Argiletz's green clay (argile verte) is its enrichment with many minerals and trace elements: silica (silicon dioxide), magnesium, calcium, copper, manganese, selenium, iron, sodium and zinc; these are sedimentary deposits that have formed in the earth over thousands of years under the influence of weathering and water. Thus the green clay is a pure, natural product for skin and body care. It consists of approximately 50% silica (silicon dioxide). This trace element is also found in bones, hair, nails and teeth.
As a natural body care product, Argiletz's green clay (argile verte) fulfils the following functions: to cleanse and to care for the skin.
Note: The pH value is 7.4 to 8.0 – depending on the liquid added.
