Devil's claw extract with L‑leucine capsules from Unimedica contain 500 mg of devil's claw extract per capsule, with 1.2% harpagosides (bitter compounds). Devil's claw is native to Africa and belongs to the sesame family. In traditional folk medicine only the root of the devil's claw is used. Each jar of Devil's claw extract with L‑leucine from Unimedica contains 180 capsules. This corresponds to a 2-month supply.

Vegan and free from the following additives

Vegan capsule shell made from pure plant cellulose (HPMC), free from carrageenan and PEG. Devil's claw extract with L‑leucine capsules from Unimedica are, in accordance with legal requirements, free from additives such as colourings, stabilisers, preservatives, anti-caking agents such as magnesium stearate, and are non-GMO, lactose-free, gluten-free and vegan.

Clear purchase recommendation
I bought the devil's claw for my husband (60 years old), he had severe pain, allegedly severe arthritis in his knees. His GP and orthopaedist forbade him from jogging and told him that there was no prospect of recovery and no therapy. By taking devil's claw (3× a day very consistently), the pain in everyday life is completely gone. He can jog again, climb stairs without pain and hike in the mountains. After very heavy exertion, he says that his knees "tug" but don't hurt. I am very happy about the success:)

Hello Sarina, I don't know what kind of nerve pain you are suffering from. Unfortunately, I have a lot of problems. I have been given a lot of medication: Excoricoib, tramadol, lidocaine, ibuprofen, ketamine, tilidine, venlafaxine, pregabalin, amnineurin to name but a few, plus of course cortisone etc. Nothing helped after a few years! Now I only have two active substances left and I'm really happy about that because I can lead an almost normal life again! It's definitely worth giving it a try! Best regards Tanja

I have been taking the capsules for about three weeks now and I have the feeling that they are not working. Previously I took devil's claw tablets from Ratiopharm and another manufacturer and during this time my complaints were significantly less than they are at the moment However, I cannot judge whether my problems are due to the fact that I am now taking these capsules or because my other medication has changed. Perhaps it is also due to my other circumstances, as I have recently been working hard physically and outside in the cold weather, which also makes the arthritis worse. I'll keep an eye on it until the capsules are empty and then see whether I should order them again or switch back to the previous one.

L-leucine unfortunately from maize
Bought the capsules to cure minor aches and pains of the musculoskeletal system. After the first capsule my hands itched, after the second I realised that I was reacting to it. As I react to several allergens, I asked the support team and learnt that the L-leucine is fermented from maize. As I have a reaction to maize, I have to do without the product and cannot write anything about its effect on the musculoskeletal system.
