Coenzyme Q10 (also ubiquinone or ubichinone) is a vitamin-like substance produced by the body. It is present in all body cells. Q10 is particularly concentrated in organs that require a lot of energy for their function, for example the heart, kidneys and liver, but also in muscle tissue.

Each Coenzyme Q10 softgel capsule from Unimedica contains 200 mg ubiquinone, dissolved in sunflower oil. The ketone ubiquinone is a form of Coenzyme Q10 and is converted in the body into the active form ubiquinol. For our high-strength capsules, Q10 is obtained by plant-based fermentation. The valuable ingredient is protected by a soft bovine gelatine shell.
