this article briefly summarizes the current state of epidemiological knowledge, diagnosis, and treatment of Lyme borreliosis. The author differentiates the various localizations and clinical pictures of the early and late stages. The special role that homeopathy can play in the treatment of antibiotic-resistant cases and the syndrome of chronic borreliosis is examined, together with the possible differential diagnoses.
