Using the example of a patient with chronic fatigue syndrome and a positive borreliosis blood test, who is healed by homeopathic treatment with Strophanthus sarmentosus, the author demonstrates the polar sensation of the Apocynaceae: tone vs. slackness. This active and passive reaction, which is typical of this plant family, is presented together with themes and indications.
