The international remedy proving of Peridot, like many other gemstones, was characterised by extreme polarities: ecstasy and euphoria on the one hand, violence and shock on the other. The majority of symptoms, including the most interesting ones, were found in the provers’ dreams. In the midst of chaos, there was often a predominant feeling of peace and stability.
