Differentiating Oxytocin and other commonly indicated remedies for newborns.
Oxytocin is an important new remedy, only recently proved, for the treatment of newborn babies with problems of bonding, nutrition, or stress. The author describes this remedy and supplements its entry in the materia medica, using case histories to show how it differs from Placenta humana, Opium, Lac humanum, and Nux vomica, which are also commonly indicated for stress and bonding problems in newborn babies.
