Using Scholten’s family themes for understanding cases.
The themes related to the various plant and animal families and mineral groups deepen our knowledge of materia medica and can enable us to more easily recognise a remedy in the patient’s story and complaints. Twenty cases from daily practice illustrate how these themes can guide us towards a certain family, whereby one then fine-tunes the remedy according to the specific complaint, so that even in acute cases one is able to prescribe at a deep level.
