Sticta pulmonaria and other lichens – a symbiosis of fungi and algae
Based on the biology of lichens, their phytotherapeutic use and the symptoms of the representatives of this symbiotic association of fungi and algae known in homeopathy, the Autor develops the characteristic polarities of vital sensation, the patterns of active and passive response and an initial miasmatic classification. Two case reports of Sticta pulmonaria illustrate the experience of this vital sensation of lichens in two female patients with cough.
