Hello everyone! This is Buster, the cheeky office dog. I’m getting in touch because the whole world seems to be turned upside down these days.
When I go for a walk I’ve noticed that many people are wearing muzzles… but I can’t imagine they’ve bitten anyone! I wonder what it’s all supposed to mean?
And the beach! It’s completely deserted!
And I love so much to watch the beach and the waves, even though I’m not allowed to go to the beach at all. There’s a sign that says “Dogs are not allowed.” (How I hate that sign.)
Well, these days it seems you aren’t allowed on the beach either, even though some of you wear muzzles. For the first time in my life I hear that you’re not allowed to go everywhere. The command “Stay” now seems to apply to you too.
Welcome to my world, dear humans! Now you know what it feels like to be a dog who is never allowed to have a walk on the beach.
Forgive me for saying it so plainly, but it seems to me that a lot of unusual things are happening to you at the moment.
Recently my owner and I ran into someone we knew while out for a walk. (I can’t tell you exactly who it was, because the woman was completely wrapped up, with gloves, a mask, a hat and so on). She suddenly seemed frightened when my owner approached to greet her.
“No, please don’t come near me!” came the muffled voice from beneath all the layers of clothing.
Admittedly, my owner hadn’t been to the hairdresser for a long time, but she looks reasonably presentable. After all, she showers regularly. I’m not sure why this friend didn’t want my owner to come near her.
Afterwards my owner explained to me that the whole thing had something to do with a “virus”. Apparently this “virus” causes more trouble than I usually do.
My owner said that health problems like this can sometimes trigger a germ phobia! That means people who normally cope well in our world suddenly develop quite an intense mania!
I’ve heard my owner say that Arsenicum album is an excellent remedy for germ phobia and extreme restlessness. Perhaps you’ve seen this restlessness in the people around you. People have to keep moving all the time — straightening a picture here, sweeping a fluff off the table there, arranging the books on the coffee table and constantly fluffing the cushions. They try, as best they can, to create order in their surroundings so they can feel orderly inside as well.
You can probably remember that I was once that nervous too and that my owner gave me Arsenicum back then.
Sometimes I spin round for quite a while before I lie down.
There are times when I get up again and then lie down once more.
I might also walk back and forth, look for my owner and then lie down again.
These people are just the same! They get up and then sit down again. They give themselves courage by saying “I will sit very still here now.” But they don’t do it; they immediately get up again and go to the window. Sit down again. Get up and draw the curtains. Sit in another armchair. It doesn’t take long before they get up again to do a bit of cleaning… and on it goes.
It’s as if they’re desperately searching for a home and can’t find it — although they’re already there.
My owner says that these people are not only restless and nervous, but also very frightened and fear they will die soon.
Together with a germ phobia, this restlessness can range from mild malaise to profound weakness.
But Arsenicum album C200 is a great remedy to help you humans return to normal — you can take it once daily until you feel better again. Then stop and take it only as needed (usually it shouldn’t be longer than a few days).
In addition, Arsenicum has the advantage of being a specific remedy for viruses that are accompanied by nausea, thirst, diarrhoea and great exhaustion (which definitely applies to this virus).
And my owner is always right. I’m so glad I have her.
Oh dear, here she comes again — I’m really not allowed to sit at her computer. Gotta go!
I’ll tell you one thing: now that she’s at home all the time, I’m really struggling to get up to mischief! I really hope everything will be back to normal very soon, so I don’t become Buster, the good office dog!
But don’t worry, that will never happen!

Your Buster
P.S. Joette here.
I can’t quite understand why there are so many paw prints on my keyboard… and a blog post that I didn’t even write. Hmm, that’s really odd.
But since you’re all here, I’d like to encourage you to use this time constructively. Can’t go to the beach? Then use the time to further your studies in homeopathy! Start a study group and form new friendships. That way you’ll not only meet new people, you’ll also deepen your own knowledge!
What will you get out of it?
Learning together is more effective. You’ll learn things you wouldn’t have thought of on your own. You can tackle tricky topics together and, as a team, solve difficult cases. You can all do it — from mother to mother, family to family, together we’ll reach out and hold hands across the globe!
Warmly,
Joette
