Seminar with Markus Kuntosch in Bratislava,
November 2012
In mid-November 2012 Markus Kuntosch held a three-day seminar in Bratislava for the Slovak Academy for Classical Homeopathy (SAKH) on incorporating favourite colour and handwriting into homeopathic case analysis. After an introduction to using the colour chart, cases from the carbon series and the plant family Solanaceae demonstrated how helpful a patient's colour choice and handwriting are for more precise differentiation of the simillimum. The method is easy to learn and can be integrated into one's own working practice as a useful addition.
A patient with the most severe cluster headaches gave dark turquoise (18E) as his favourite colour. This was the decisive clue pointing to a lithium salt as his remedy.
His handwriting most closely resembled that of another Lithium carbonicum patient and could be well distinguished from the handwriting of other lithium salts, such as Lithium muriaticum. He had already tried many things and no longer wanted to go on living with these pain attacks. Since taking Lithium carbonicum he has been free of severe pain attacks.

The 120 seminar participants received the suggestions enthusiastically and worked with commitment and great concentration.
Vladimir Petroci, the director of the academy, runs a school there with a four-year homeopathy training programme. Three to four times a year he also organises seminars with homeopathic teachers from abroad. Jan Scholten, Lou Klein, Patricia LeRoux and the Seghal brothers have already visited Slovakia to present their ideas and working methods.
In Slovakia there is not yet a protected title for homeopaths and the profession is practised by both doctors and laypeople. You can feel the sense of new beginnings and the enthusiasm for this wonderful, profound healing method.
Particularly pleasing were the many younger participants, some of whom are still at the beginning of their homeopathic path. With ease and refreshing open-mindedness they grasped the working method presented in numerous successful prescriptions, so that they were very quickly able to resolve many cases. The seminar was carried by a very warm, familiar atmosphere.
For me it was an unforgettable experience. I find the colour method fantastic. It can really help us to solve a case and even a beginner in homeopathy can apply it immediately. These 3 days of seminar with Markus Kuntosch completely convinced me. I wonder why I had not heard of this method earlier. The mixture of cases from polychrests and smaller remedies was excellent. I particularly liked the interactive lecture style which made the seminar much more lively. Tomas Vyboch (2nd year homeopathy student)
Thank you for this great seminar. For a few hours I was able to experience the wonderful world of homeopathy.
