Dr Rajan Sankaran has greatly influenced homeopathy through his ideas and experience. In particular, his view of disease as a "delusion", the inclusion of emotional symptoms and dreams, his classification of remedy pictures into the natural kingdoms, and his understanding of the miasms have made him well known. He himself regards the discovery of the "vital sensation" as a decisive milestone in his development.
