Depression is a thing of the past. Thanks to homeopathy she has regained her zest for life.
This woman has everything one could wish for: a loving husband, healthy children, a beautiful and tastefully furnished home. She is intelligent too. She is completely satisfied with her life and enjoys it to the full. One could say fate has favoured her.
But it was not always like that. As recently as 15 years ago Randy was alone, depressed and plagued by anxiety. Chronic exhaustion set in. These were not the typical premenstrual complaints and occasional panic attacks. Randy was overwhelmed by depressive moods to such an extent that a normal life was no longer possible.
Her daily life was dominated by medical dramas and an endless search for solutions. “Why is this happening to me?” she kept asking herself; the answer remained vague and confusing.
Randy consulted numerous doctors, but none could give a satisfactory explanation for her profound condition – on the contrary: every new drug, every new therapy seemed to worsen the depression.
Her odyssey lasted several years until a friend happened to mention that a relative had overcome chronic depression with the help of a homeopathic treatment.
After that the decision was easy. She immediately made an appointment with the homeopath who had treated her friend’s relative so successfully. At that point she still harboured quiet doubts that any therapy could really ease her shattered mental state.
At the first consultation the homeopath explained that the medications she had taken up to then had only masked the core symptoms of the illness and thereby made the condition worse. This type of treatment not only suppressed the disease but also the body’s natural self-healing powers. Once the right homeopathic remedy had been found, the symptoms would no longer be suppressed; instead the organism could regenerate step by step and restore a healthy balance by itself.
She remembers the day after taking the homeopathic remedy Aurum metallicum C200 as remarkable. That day she had hoped to manage at least a small everyday task: she wanted to sort a filing folder so she could apply for state assistance because of her inability to work.
By then she had become used to coping with her daily life only to the extent that her illness allowed. On most days she managed one to two hours of moderate activity; the rest of the time she dozed in bed, dissolved in tears, or made desperate attempts to overcome her anxiety.
But that day was different. Randy not only sorted a folder but cleared the whole desk and even managed to prepare a healthy soup.
She had once loved this ritual, but had not been able to do it for a long time. And now she was in the kitchen cooking! After lunch she noticed the pantry, which badly needed a thorough clean. Randy set to work straight away; a few weeks earlier so much activity would have been unthinkable. “My word,” she thought, “I remember this feeling… This is how I used to be: full of energy, competent and hands-on.”
After the last tin had been cleaned and put neatly back on the shelf, Randy immediately tackled the very large pile of washing in the bathroom…
And so a day passed, structured and productive and entirely without the leaden tiredness that usually made her days and weeks seem endless.
That evening, lying contentedly in bed and reviewing the day, she desperately hoped that the homeopathic remedy might have something to do with her changed mood.
“It can’t be, it’s probably just a coincidence,” she thought before falling into a deep, restorative sleep.
The next morning began grey and wet, weather that would normally make her depression worse. Despite the unfavourable conditions Randy managed another productive day.
She got through the next two weeks with flying colours, until a panic attack made itself felt. She also felt tearful again; she attributed the low mood to her fear that her regained everyday happiness might be gone again.
At that moment something completely unexpected happened: just as the panic attack was reaching its peak, the fear suddenly vanished. Instead of the usual exhaustion a calm spread through her.
From then on everything ran smoothly. Day by day, week by week the depressive episodes became shorter and less dramatic. Her initiative and energy returned. She was able to stop her medications and the joie de vivre she had missed for so long finally came back.
During a visit to the friend who had recommended the homeopath she met an incredibly charming man. This man wore aftershave, something that had previously triggered panic attacks in Randy.
That evening Randy was witty and charming; no man could have resisted her. The fears and gloom had vanished; she was able to let her intelligence shine.
A year later the wedding bells rang…
The couple are now happily married and have two children, who of course are treated homeopathically.
For Randy depression is a thing of the past. She has a fulfilling life, a healthy family and feels well in body and mind. To an outsider with no knowledge of her medical history, Randy and her family would appear privileged and favoured by luck. They radiate joy of life and harmony.
She owes much of this to homeopathy.
Aurum metallicum is a homeopathic remedy long used for deep and severe depression.
The corresponding mental state can be triggered by professional failures or unhappy love affairs. The symptom picture can include, among other things, anorexia nervosa, suicidal thoughts and exhaustion. It is also indicated for people with a family history of depression.
When a person suffers from chronic tiredness and depression this remedy can achieve a great deal.
Aurum metallicum C200 should be taken every 2–3 days for several weeks. Once improvement sets in the remedy is discontinued.
