Prince Charles is extending his environmental interests to a new range of herbal remedies, having long championed homeopathy. The Prince is in the process of establishing a new product range within his Duchy Originals line, which already includes a variety of natural and organic foods made by local producers. |
On a visit to the factories and laboratories that will produce Prince Charles' new herbal remedies, the sixty-year-old reminisced about how his interest in homeopathy began. "I remember well that when I was small my grandmother always had a beautiful leather case full of all those little homeopathic glass vials," he said. "It was a fixture in my life, and as I got older I became increasingly aware of the effects of homeopathy and of complementary medicine as a whole." The new product line will be available from next year (2009) and, according to Duchy, 'will realise the Prince's enthusiasm for promoting integrative health.' All proceeds from the sale of the herbal products will go to the Prince's Charities Foundation. |
