Martin Jakob: Overlooked by others

News

Case (2) of Gnaphalium and traumatic childhood experience: sciatica, goitre and neglect.

The patient expresses the feeling of having been overlooked throughout her life. In conflicts she avoids confrontation and suffers as a result. Her physical complaints, which manifest particularly as disorders of the thyroid gland (goitre), correlate with the psychological problems. The case analysis demonstrates the practical usefulness of Jan Scholtens' new homeopathic plant systematics. A graphic from Jan Scholtens' new work "Wonderful Plants" illustrates the position of the remedy Gnaphalium polycephalum in this system based on the APG III taxonomy.

KEYWORDS: Asteraceae, Gnaphalium polycephalum, sciatica, conflict avoidance, goitre, trauma, helplessness
