A socially excluded father abandons his partner with a child and does not take care of them. The mother has "burned her fingers" and is to blame herself; she feels she cannot do anything about it. "The forensic investigation proves the guilt and exposes the culprit." |
Magnesium: children of divorce. Insecure relationships that can break up again at any time. Fear of rejection by parents, friends or partners. Wants to belong and adapts too much. Aggression or pacifism; hates the other even at slight provocation or gives in too easily. Orphans, children of divorce whose parents only argue and could separate at any moment. The child does not know where it belongs.

Stomach cramps: better from warmth and from bending. Sudden stabbing pains. Craves vegetables, salad, raw food. Worse 7–9 a.m.
Bromatum: excluded from a village community, expelled from school, ostracised from the group, unemployed, fired, "bullying". Strong feelings of guilt. Psychotically increased passion, loses control and strikes out. Death threats.
General: better by the sea; worse from warmth. Acne. Asthma. Glandular swellings; lymph nodes; thyroid. Nail-biting, involuntary finger movements.
Magnesium bromatum was first described by Jan Scholten in 1993. The variants described here suggest that it may be a relatively common remedy if one thinks of it for the indications mentioned. Acne and nail-biting in children of divorced parents is a reliable indication, especially when the colour preference is yellow‑green 23C. The remedy is not available from the usual German manufacturers,
but Helios in England supplies it:

Themes:
The father of the child is socially excluded and leaves the shy mother with the child.
The insecure child feels guilty that the parents argue and that they will divorce.
Aggressive attack for slight or even no reason, only to test the reaction.
Fear of violence, of unbridled aggression, avoids conflict from a safe distance, not easily drawn in.
Can be hard on herself, does not show her feelings easily, withdraws silently when faced with aggression. Does not dare to speak up.
Shifts restlessly on the chair, fiddles, ashamedly guilty, shyly blinks, a trembling look as if her guilt has been discovered.
DD Cyclamen: both live with a feeling of guilt related to the child which they must deal with alone. In Cyclamen it is a disabled child. Cyclamen prefers pink, Magnesium bromatum yellow‑green.
Case 1:
Acne. Feeling of guilt, she has "burned her fingers", can do nothing about it and withdraws. Despite being 35 she still appears like a shy, reserved adolescent. She has jet‑black hair, dark eyes with a deep gaze, but as if burdened by guilt; a strong, severe face, very reserved, a mixture of gentleness, disappointment and stern hardness. She lives with her daughter, whose father is from Africa, at her parents' home. Ten years ago she learned his native language for his sake, but today he no longer looks after her and the child. As a teenager she liked going to Italy because she knew a family there, which is why she learned Italian. Today she comes [to us] because of acne, since her twin sister also had acne and was cured by us. She would so much like to have beautiful skin, but she feels she started caring for it too late; now it is probably too late. She shifts restlessly on the chair and constantly moves her hands and fingers.
Dreams: she often dreams that she is looking for her daughter but cannot find her; she hears her crying but cannot locate her; her daughter is abducted; she is accused of a murder she did not commit and is pursued, but nothing can be done about it.
Colour choice yellow‑green 23–24C, repeatedly confirmed after initially selecting changing colours.
After a double dose of Mag‑br 200 and 1000 the skin worsened for 2 days, then improved. She still has restless hands and gets hectic red embarrassed patches on her neck when speaking. Over 4 weeks everything improves. She appears more mature, not so intimidated. She has become properly angry with her ex‑husband because he is so unsettled, cannot keep a job and does not know what he wants. She had always helped him financially, but now she has had enough: he must sort out his own affairs. For the first time she reports that her parents used to argue very often, which she suffered from.
Mag‑br 1000 was repeated and then given daily as D12. After a further 4 weeks the skin became the best it had ever been. The skin no longer feels tight, and she herself is much calmer; the constant movements of the hands have stopped. After 4 months there was a slight relapse; Mag‑br 1000 helped again. She says of herself that although she is not the most confident, she is content with herself. She does not envy others for having large houses.
Cases 2 and 3:
Severe acne, neck cyst: The forensics identifies the guilty party: In two further cases the father of the child was once from Romania, in the other case from Africa. Both mothers were left by the men. In each case the children were treated, not—as in Case 1—the mother. In the first case, a very serious‑looking boy, a neck cyst that had been present for 4 years disappeared with Mag‑br. In the other case a girl’s severe acne cleared. She had been ostracised at school and constantly picked at her nails. She wanted to train with the police and in forensics in order to be able to provide laboratory proof of a committed guilt and thus convict others.
Case 4:
Strikes briefly and withdraws to test what the aggression produces: Scholten describes a case in "Homoeopathy and Minerals": a child apparently attacks another child for no reason and then withdraws, observing only to test which reaction the aggression provokes.
