Bambusa arundinacea as an example of typical phases and self-destructive behavioural patterns in burnout syndrome.
The authors describe burnout syndrome from a psychological-homoeopathic perspective and elucidate characteristic phases of the illness as well as patient types. Those affected, often particularly responsible and perfectionistic, must therefore learn on the path to recovery to become aware of their fears and to recalibrate their value system in order to be able to change self-destructive behavioural patterns. In the case study, Bambusa emerges as one of the important remedies for the homoeopathic treatment of burnout.
