Phosphorus in the current influenza wave

Phosphorus, Acidum phosphoricum or phosphorus compounds appear to be frequently indicated in the influenza wave affecting the South Baden area (status 2013 - here is the link to the 2016 influenza wave).

Below you will find further feedback on the indicated remedies.

We would welcome further observations.

Feedback on the influenza wave:

"Dear Narayana sales team, a second influenza wave is on the move from Baden-Württemberg with the Influenza B virus type Victoria, which is not included in the current vaccine (info also via Ärzte-Zeitung). Symptoms: dizziness like intoxication, possibly fainting, with nausea and vomiting; thirst – but drinks are vomited up again; upper abdominal complaints, complaints in the gallbladder area, skin rash, especially facial flushing, burning, itching like urticaria, dry skin, diarrhoea thin, watery, pale, also yellow. Remedies: Chelidonium (Genius epidemicus, also given prophylactically), Ars. Alb., Influenzinum.

thank you very much for the flu remedy tip. I am bedridden myself, totally ill. I also seem to have a Phosphorus flu. Two nights ago I needed Rhus tox. for incredible restlessness, worry about health, terrible hip pains and temple pains with moderate fever. It helped within 5 minutes and I was able to fall asleep, which had previously been unthinkable.
After giving Phosphorus: Phosphorus has now actually brought a positive turn – I can get up again, cough less and the feeling of soreness (bronchi, throat, bones) has greatly decreased. A blessing!

"Influenza situation in West Middle Franconia: Three weeks ago the preferred remedies in influenza patients were: Baptisia, Bryonia and for (children's) bronchitis: Ant-t.
It is currently shifting towards phosphorus-containing remedies especially in children, Bryonia, a first Cuprum case, a Veratrum-v case (pneumonia).

"I had 9 influenza cases (about 80% of the influenza cases treated) that responded quickly and well to Arsenicum album. Notable were: great weakness with chills and such intense shivering that even walking to the toilet was not possible, great thirst, corpse-pale.
