Using the case of a patient with chronic fatigue syndrome and positive Borrelia serology, who is cured by homeopathic treatment with Strophanthus sarmentosus, the Autor demonstrates the polar sensation in the Apocynaceae of tension and relaxation. The active and passive responses typical of this plant family, as well as remedy themes and indications, are presented.
