The interview was conducted by Heidi Brand with Dr Couzens on the occasion of the veterinary congress.
Dr Couzens reports on his not always straightforward path from a conventional veterinary surgeon in a small-animal practice
to homeopathy and on to his current specialisation, the treatment of horses. He introduces us to the case-taking technique he developed over many
years and which is now tried and tested, and gives valuable advice on the treatment of chronic diseases in horses.
We learn about remedies commonly used in such cases, and Dr
Couzens explains why horses in particular are so receptive
to homeopathic treatment.
