This paper first presents the clinical picture of hay fever, its diagnosis and conventional treatment options. This is followed by the particularities of homeopathic hay fever treatment, in which special care must be taken to ensure that natural modalities related to the occurrence of allergens do not influence the patient's symptomatology. An introduction to polarity analysis is then given by means of three case studies. Using two small prospective hay fever studies (Evaluation of Polarity Analysis in Hay Fever 2005 and Evaluation of Henning Gypser's paper Principles of Homeopathic Treatment of Hay Fever 2002), the achievable results can be shown: the two treatment methods are equivalent and each show good results in 85% of patients.
